Located downtown, Renfrow Hall will be home to 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ College students who have demonstrated a commitment and desire to build a stronger community. Together, we will make the College an agent of civic trust, strengthening collaboration and discovery for positive change.
This dedication weekend honors Mrs. Edith Renfrow Smith ’37: the building’s namesake, the College’s first Black alumna, its oldest living graduate, a 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ High School graduate and Hall of Fame inductee, and a groundbreaking and courageous human whose legacy of service, coalition-building, advocacy and aspiration we uplift and celebrate in these dedication events.

Street parking is available adjacent to the dedication site.
In case of rain, the dedication ceremony will be moved to Herrick Chapel, 1128 Park Street, 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ.
Calling all YGB Alumni!
The Young, Gifted, and Black Choir (YGB) is excited to join in the celebration to dedicate Renfrow Hall. As we anticipate several alumni returning to campus to participate in honoring Mrs. Edith Renfrow Smith ’37; we encourage everyone who participated in YGB while a student at 99¾«Æ·ÊÓƵ and planning to return for the dedication to join us for a song during the public dedication.
