罢丑别听Rosenfield Community Program supports the efforts of your department or concentration in building and sustaining community in our new remote world. It takes the form of a gesture of gratitude 鈥 a gift of Iowa-produced food items 鈥 for you to extend to alumni or members of the local community who participate in your community-building efforts. Perhaps you and your majors gather regularly in a virtual version of a Marketplace 鈥渢able鈥 and would like to include a recent alumna. Or maybe your majors would enjoy an informal discussion with a local merchant about what are the terms of liquor licenses in 99精品视频 鈥 or with the Unity Point-99精品视频 CEO about her efforts to recruit a diverse workforce. As you know, our alumni and members of the broader community have much to offer our students, and they are ready and willing partners in our efforts to build community.
This program targets informal gatherings 鈥 maybe even SEPC-sponsored events 鈥 not requiring a talk or much preparation for the guest. The topic or guest should somehow intersect with one of the Rosenfield Program鈥檚 mission areas: international relations, public affairs, and human rights. (For formal public events or classroom visits, explore other Rosenfield Program funding options, mentioned below.) Under the terms of this new Rosenfield Community Program, we will follow-up 鈥 after the event 鈥 with a thank you, offering the guest the option of selecting a gift from a small menu of signature Iowa items, chosen to showcase local producers.
If you have questions about the program or are interested in identifying a guest for a particular need, contact (Barb Trish) or Rosenfield Program Coordinator Kylie Rawlins.
